So, Day 4 of our sixth edition comes to an end.

Although the last day is on Saturday, there still seems so much to experience…

Of the many highlights we could pick out from another packed day, check out the third picture below, of WMDF’s first “Kid’s Staff”. We have wanted for a while to start offering educational opportunities to children to accompany our staff, and to learn about events in a new way. Our first trial was a “Kid’s MC”, and was very well received by both audience and performers (thanks Bati-holic!)

Although this was a Wednesday, in six years of our festical, this was the highest selling day in the history of the WMDF bar! Thanks to all for turning out in such thirsty numbers.

The pictures in today’s post show something of the “flavour” of both the Mogu Mogu festival, and the crowds.

We look forward to more of everything on Day ４. For the first time, we have two days after that to enjoy, instead of just one!

The first day of WMDF brought unexpected audience numbers despite the requirement to purchase a pass for entry. The second day built on the first, filling the park even more. After two days of our new system, all staff are becoming more adept at handling the change, and we are improving many of the small-but-important details of our site. For example, we added new roving performance both in the park and outside the main gate (see picture of pipe organ below), and we tried projection mapping for the first time (also pictured). The main Atlas stage was closed by Sisay, who are now heading further north for a tour of Hokkaido: we hope that they (and also us) will meet many new worlds!
