The picture here combines “Sai”, the shortened name of our festival, with a Japanese kanji character read as “ten”. The kanji has many meanings, including “develop” and “expand”. “Saiten” (using different Japanese characters) is also one way of saying “festival”. So, all at once this image represents the tenth year of WMDF, the whole idea of events, and our goal to make next year even better!
