“Kytalyk” are a multi-prize-winning group from the village of Maya, Megino-Kangalassky Ulus,
in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). “Kytalyk” means Siberian Crane (White Crane). In the Sakha land, people believe that those who witness the dance of Siberian Cranes are the happiest people on Earth. At WMDF, we are fortunate to have a repeat chance of such happiness, as the group are making a reprise of their 007 visit, bringing with them an all-new program of performances, as well as the musicians of the “Orchestra of folk instruments, palace of children’s creativity, YAKUTSK”.
