Welcome to the unique world of this duo’s theatrical puppet company experience. Firstly, the artist “Daruma-mori” has many hats: stage writer, picture book writer, creator of musical instruments, artist and performing artist. Secondly, Eriko says that, well, both her hobby and her work is Daruma-mori (!) They perform everywhere that kids gather, including festivals, libraries and kindergardens. They have a regular “Daruma-mori and Eriko’s Democratic Flowers” radio program, frequently stage gallery exhibits, and are serial picture-book award winners, including repeated mentions at the Crayon House Picture Book Grand Prize.
