Bakchus was established in 2006. They bring an original interpretation to the wild and mystic music from from all over medieval Europe, giving a new life to the songs and dances of the wandering jugglers, troubadors and entertainers that roamed the land from the 12th to 16th century. Bakchus use authentic instruments such as the bagpipes, shawm, cittern, gittern, lute, harp, vielle, harp, drums, gemshorn, and many more. All their songs are sung in the original languages.
