First of all, thanks very much to all the artists who came to Hakodate having long flights.

Your performances which we usually can’t see in Hakodate were really fantastic.

Thanks to artists who came from all around Japan to weirdly cold Hakodate even in this mid-summer.

We enjoyed your unique performances, reunion at the stages in one year, funny MC, and so on.

We’re thankful to shop owners for offering us nice foods and drinks.

Without you, we couldn’t fully enjoy music and dance. Thanks to your foods, we could have kept energetic.

Thanks to booth staffs for making us have lots of fun with relaxation, workshops and various goods.

The cute goods and experiences we can’t have in everyday life made us excited physically but also mentally.

We’re so grateful to volunteer staffs for the support during the festival.
Your hard works really shape our WMDF. Not only artists, but also lots of people appreciate your help.

Finally, Thanks to every visitor for coming to Motomachi park.
Your will to enjoy WMDF and your power to make WMDF more lively helped us finish the 10th successfully.

As soon as we finish the 10th WMDF, we begin preparation for the next: 11th.

We hope to have a good festival with the support from visitors, artists, shop and booth owners, and volunteer staffs, next year too.

The rain that fell just after we started made us quite anxious.

However, many people came to Motomachi park with umbrella or rain wear.
Thank you all very much!

Atlas stage seats were decorated with various, colorful umbrella and raincoats.
Visitors cheered us up to fight against rain.

The closer the night came, the more people came too. Roads were fully filled up!

Many shops had a long line before them constantly, so screams of joy rose simultaneously.

After having yummy foods, it’s time to enjoy performances!
Every stage got super energetic with the heats of visitors and artists.

But as stages moved on and as the park got lit up, we began to feel kind of sad.
Finally, the time to have closing ceremony had come…

Until then, we just had light rain.
As soon as we began the ceremony, suddenly rain got heavier and stronger.
It was like the rain represented our sorrow.

But no one, no visitors and no artists, cared about the rain nor got sad.
Because we’d enjoyed everything from the beginning to the very final performances.
The 10th WMDF finished with dances and cheers.

The lights of lanterns at the park would lead us to the next WMDF.

Please look forward to the next year.

The 6th day of WMDF.

Though clouds and frequent rain made us worried, we are happy we could successfully run the festival today too after all.
In addition, ticket counter had a long line of visitors even before the gate opened. It made us happy too.

Those who came so early wanted to see certain artists for sure. They got good seats 30 minutes before performances began.

Before performances, there was a surprise by Cyappy!
Miraculously this time, it only once to bring him on stage.
Elementary school kids at seats made this miracle happen by calling him hard and cheerfully.
Thanks to all kids for making the stage more exciting!

Kenzan who performed in Chara area filled the stage with children’s cheers.
His cute character called and brought people there, one after another.
During his show, audiences cheered and threw him voices according to his rhythm. The stage was full of excitements!
Even Bald Yamada was dancing joyfully down there because of Kenzan’s nice performance.

Corona sessions played their music in Bunda area.
Everyone raised their arm energetically yelling “Ageha Hakodate!!” together.
In response to audiences’ heat, Corona sessions got super thrilled! Together they all made a little chilly and windy Motomachi park hot and comfortable.

WMDF was amazing and exciting today too!
There is only more one day you can see impressive performances.
As well as performances, you have only one more day to enjoy yummy foods and drinks of Mogu-fes.
Please make sure to enjoy the final day and don’t leave anything fun behind.
I hope you’ll get lots of nice memories and meet worlds in Motomachi park tomorrow.

Even after deciding to go through today, honestly we were quite nervous checking raincloud radar frequently.

Since beginning today, sometimes we had light rain. But Teru teru bozu made by visitors especially kids protected us hard!

Those who we are very thankful far more than Teru teru bozu are everyone who came to Motomachi park even in this rainy day.

Your energies defeated rain today, again!

In response to everyone’s love for WMDF, stages were full of excitements.

Yesterday Bunda was especially good, today was Atlas’s turn!

Russan group did fabulous perfomances: sword-dance which literally threw off sparks, singing a Japanese famous song “Koi no Vacance” in Russian as well as in Japanese, mixing “Sakura Sakura” with Russian folk song, and so on! We again realized they are professional indeed.

Following Bati-holic and Raymis were finishing their performances for this year’s WMDF, so they showed their best and made visitors amazed!

Meet worlds in Motomachi park!!

Day 4, and maybe the coolest day so far. But it’s no problem: our MoguFes booths selling hot drinks did great business, and Chicken pho was seen everywhere around the park. We beat the weather with great hot food and drinks!

WMDF artists also produced hot and bright stages to complete Motomachi Park’s own micro-climate. Regulars will know that a Bunda stage running order of Bati-holic, Afro Begue and Raymis means serious energy. Rain clouds came and went, attracted by the dance, cheers, songs and applause, but they gave up the losing battle. All were oblivious to their troubles.
