It’s been ages since I wrote blog last.

How was WMDF2010?
Unfortunately, I couldn’t take part in this year
because I live in Kanagawa prefecture near Tokyo now.
I hope you had a wondeful time.

By the way, do you remember WMDF2009?
I saw Satyananda Das and Hori Dasi from India the other day.
They are coming here for Japan tour.
I visited their house and had lunch and dinner with them.
It was my first time to eat home-made Indian food, and soooo delicious.
Then, we enjoyed watching a movie ”Lord of the rings”.
I was very glad to have met them again.

Hello, everyone. This is Nami, a member of WMDF staff. How have you been?
We celebrated the 150th anniversary of opening port on July 1st.
I attended the ceremony and thoght that we should appreciate what people have done and make new Hakodate.
Hakodate pageant(outdoor play) started in Goryokaku park yesterday.
Before the play, we gave our leaflets out, Hinokiya played music and Ian(the chairman) gave a speech.
Then, we watched the play.
I organize some events in Hakodate, so I think it’s good to go to other events.

We had an opening concert at Hakodate Geijyutu Hall on May 28th, Thursday.
Thank you for coming to the concert.

Hinokiya(from Hakodate), Chi Bulgoude&Miho(from Mongolia&Japan) and Tonfa&Taimin(from Taiwan) performed yesterday.
Their performances were all wonderful!!


We had a meeting with performers before the concert.


We sold WMDF original T-shirts and pins.


You can choose white, blue or salmon pink(only for women).


It’s allowed to take photos after the concert.
Smile!!

I heard the hat is made of pigs, eagles and so on.

Hello everyone!!
We had a staff meeting on May 12th at Machizukuri center.


We divide into three teams, the sponsor pass team, the advertisement team and the donation team,
and prepare for the festival.
I’m in the advertisement team.
What do you think of “The Advertisement Team”?
To go to TV or Radio stations and say hello to everyone in Japan?
or to give leaflets out in front of the station?
Actually, we are designing original goods, for example T-shirts, pins and so on.
Mmm, I guess we should change the team name to “Goods Team”.

We have “Opening Live” on May 28th at Geijyutsu hall in Goryokaku.
You can buy original goods there.
We are working on making goods very hard.
Wear “the WMDF original T-shirt”and enjoy the opening live!

Next meeting is on May 26th, Tuesday.
